Just finished watching quali, very entertaining.

As you say - the ducati wall's going to be difficult for anyone to get over tomorrow.

Enjoyed qualifying. The weather added to the fun.
But wondering why the Moto3 bikes were actually in pit lane, in front of the garages. Not much fun if it rains.

Hmm. Just watched it as I was poorly Sunday.
Less overtaking than F1. It's becoming too hard to pass.

Yup, that's how it's gone with the wings, tech, brakes, electronics.... MotoGP is becoming pretty dull.

Moto3 has long been the best entertainment and the closest racing. The big boys have lost something of that along the technology road.

I'd love to watch them without electronics. The BSB lads can do it so sure the the MotoGP could have fun.

problem is, that's just not going to happen now. Once you go down the tech road, you can't go back. Certainly not in this class.

The factories want it coz it sells road bikes.

Does it though ? does the wings, the ride height devices etc really sell THAT many road bikes... it's a ridiculously small part of their overall sales, for all companies... The tech that's come from cars/bikes would always have made it down anyway, like your ABS, Traction, etc....

I'd love to know what percentage of motorbikes sold are sportsbikes.

I was mainly referring to the electronics.

Motogp is a prototype class,it's cutting edge. From a spectacle point of view, you can't undo technology,it's always on the march and unfortunately there are times when it interferes with the entertainment value. The wings are the thing.

Engineers solve problems and make things better, they have no interest in spectators. It's up to the promoters to harness the skills of the engineers in such a way to allow the riders to entertain.

I think I heard that they're banning one or both ride height adjusters.

Front, from next year I believe. I presume that'll mean teams stop using the rear quite so much too.

Re not being able to walk back the tech - F1 re-wrote the regs to try and stop aero making the races dull and so far this year it's been an improvement.
