Re: Honda CBX
I have a big mate who rode for years with no gloves, his hands were like shovels so he had given up looking for something to fit. It gave me the chills thinking about the skin and bone being grated.Mr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Wed Aug 10, 2022 7:49 pm Anyone else think it's really weird that rider is all geared up but has no gloves?

Rider? That's Reginald Twistleton-Fforbes from the modelling agency. Never ridden a bike in his life.Mr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Wed Aug 10, 2022 7:49 pm Anyone else think it's really weird that rider is all geared up but has no gloves?

Re: Honda CBX
None of the specials based on a CBX have been able to fix a basic problem with the donor bike - the engine is just too fucking big, wide and out of proportion to the rest of the bike. This one is no different, plus it has 'challenges' all of its own.

I love that engine. But wasn't that the whole point? Even to having a spine frame so that nothing blocked the view of it.mangocrazy wrote: ↑Wed Aug 10, 2022 11:59 pm None of the specials based on a CBX have been able to fix a basic problem with the donor bike - the engine is just too fucking big, wide and out of proportion to the rest of the bike.

That looks like it just came out of the crate!Skub wrote: ↑Thu Aug 11, 2022 8:42 pmThere ya go. Make them an offer.

However....the engine is the only remarkable thing about that model isn't it? Otherwise it looks generic Honda. The wheels, seat and indicators could be off a CX, the tank off of lots of other bikes. Was there anything special about the frame/forks/brakes etc? (I know I wanted one, but what I really wanted was more cylinders than everyone apart from Benelli Sei owners ).
