Big crash early on at spoon curve, both riders okay, but that was fast.

Re: Suzuka 8 Hour
A well deserved win for Honda, the bike was faster, better handling and reliable, Kawasaki 2nd, but they never really troubled Honda, Suzuki a lucky 3rd due to YART crashing with an hour to go.

Re: Suzuka 8 Hour
Only news I took from Suzuka was the big crash that has left Gino Rea on a ventilator after being airlifted out. Looked very touch and go but some positive news tonight from Terry Rymer saying he might be taken off it tomorrow if his progress continues.
I admit I was shocked to read it as Gino was another I knew from his early teens as a racer in the paddock and all round good bloke who has managed to get into some good series but never quite made it to the very top but been very close to it. Riding for Honda France in EWC was a good ride for him to show his abilities
I hope the more positive news continues tomorrow

Poor sod, I’ve met him at Good wood a few times and he’s always been nice.
