I started pondering this recently having seen two programes that I recored recently And he answer to who arethe Bes UK-Band ever isnot quite as simple as the Beatles!! \we all havepersnal tastess but Iwatched the Whoat the Albert Hall playing Tommy and they are a great candidate a swell? Pus, the next obvious option surely has to be htose kids, the Rolling Stones!? MaybeZepelin shouldbeon he list??Whaddyall think?
A very surprising choivce is because of lerning that this blokehas outsold allartists in his lifetimeexcept for the Beates ad for Elvis!!So who is he? Errm, actually it is Cliff \richard! Amazing?? Outselling Elvis who'd hav thuk it?/

The only band, UK or otherwise, I can listen to for a long period is Echo and the Bunnymen, but I think the Cult, Hawkwind and New Model Army have produced better songs.

For me, The Wildhearts. Hands down over every other band on the planet ever. But that's the thing taste is in the eye of the beholder.
Beatles, Stones etc wouldn't even come in my top 20 UK bands I reckon. Off the top of my head ahead of them would be
