How to modify wall end to protect car from damage?

There's a small wall alongside my parking space. I have to park close to it if I want to be able to get my bike out of the garage.
Yesterday I went too close and scraped the car on the edge of the wall (d'oh!), see photo.
Any suggestions as what I can fix to the wall to prevent a repeat?
I was thinking Gripfill a 3/4 piece of pipe insulation on there. Maybe that's a bit of a bodge. Can anyone think of a better solution? I think it only really needs to cover the top 6 inches or so, of the side my car is on.

Old car tyres, hung down on ropes like a fishing boat.

An interesting idea.
I think the problem is the front end of the wall, not the long flat side.
I still need to get the car close to the wall, tyres might be too wide.
Also it's visible from people's houses so can't have too great a visual impact.

Pool noodles?
Loads and loads and loads of old wine bottle corks?
Knock the wall down and rebuild it with sponges?
Buy a monster truck so any body work is higher than the wall?
Learn to park and look where you going?

Difficult to imagine anything that's hard enough to do the job,yet soft enough not to mark the car paintwork.

How about chamfering the corner of the wall?

A good point. I do go on very gently so wondered if I'd hear the squeak of insulation foam.
Cars often also parked in the street make it a tricky approach and I have to sort of three point it in on almost full lock.
I guess another option is to not park on the drive.
I will move house which will solve the the issue but that could be months or years away.

The pipe insulation should do the trick, open it out and stick it on the corner.
You'd be better off reversing in, obvs....but you'd have to climb out the other side.

A smaller car is the only answer. You could fix a length of plastic top to bottom on your side, but catching that would still be a problem.

My Mum had a ridiculously narrow garage and was always worried about chipping the doors when opening them or scraping on a pillar. I screwed some 2x1 roofing batons to the wall at the required height.

Why not just drive with a bit more care?

Is there room for a mirror next to the garage door above the wall? Not sure if it would work but even if you can't see right down the side of the car it might make it more obvious if you are slightly off line

I have a bit of plasterboard at the end of my garage to run the Alpina up against as I have only an inch or two to spare if you no more nails it to the wall You'd have to protect it from the weather that might help as the plaster wouldnt catch it as badly as the bricks seemed to have done not perfect buT that going to cost you 350-500 to fix. plasterboard's V cheap

Duct tape inflated balloons to the wall and when you get too close you'll hear them pop.
I wish this was my idea, but sadly I've stolen it from Viz

Screw a timber rail to the concrete as a bump stop if you feel the wheels hit it you know you are off line. Stop reverse and try again.
