I can't see them being any more successful than the 'insulate Britain' lot. Just getting on the tits of folk trying to get places.

Dunno. Those halfwit who glue themselves to roads are workshy tosspots.

At least the truckers will have some public support.

Speaking of protest, it's amazing how quick the cops cleared them off the F1 track yesterday but are happy to let them sit on the M25 all day.

When they stop it with the murdering, then I might have some sympathy.

And that's one of the few who were actually caught.

The rest of them are out-and-about every day: blocking up our roads; leering at kiddies; chucking their piss out the window in IrnBru empties.

Are you saying that all lorry drivers are paedos?

You obviously have a dislike of lorry drivers (which is more than a little odd), how do you suggest goods are moved round the country, don't bother saying rail, it isn't practical.

Why are they protesting? Fuel prices go up which means haulage prices go up, there may be less demand at the higher price but don't we have a shortage of drivers anyway?

I would have been caught up in the POW bridge jam this morning, but I'm not sure people really get over-excited with delays on Motorways, its an every day occurrence and generally. by the time the traffic clears, you have no idea what caused it :)

My BIL is a Trucker. He works his bollocks off going to every corner of the country. He loves it, though delivering Farm equipment, he does get to some lovely spots. :D :D

Of course its practical, just give it the same investment that roads have had.

So you're going to have a rail spur to every business in the UK, and the necessary rail infrastructure to run all of that?

Last mile delivery isn't moving goods around the country.

A quick Google days UK rail network is 10,000 miles now, versus 23 000 miles in 1914.

Or a huge depot outside every major town/city where the goods can be distributed by smaller electric vans. Larder diesel motors to take further afield to areas that dont have rail network. If they ever shut down all the railways and made them into cycle laines in Edinburgh we could have had a cracking rail distribution network or even a better tram system to the pish they spunked million on that they are still trying to extend.

Some of them claim they only murder adult prostitutes, but I’m not buying it.
