I couldn't think of a more fitting race number
Is not the case any more that race numbers are specifically illegal on road bikes?
I think it used to be a law, because RAC Rally (car) competitors had to get special dispensation to use the roads to get between stages without removing their numbers, but last time I looked (a couple of years back now, I think I checked when Honda started selling repsol rep fireblades with 63 on them) I couldn't find anything saying race numbers were illegal.
I've had a look round too, including a poke about the Road Traffic Offenders Act, which is
The Law we're actually talking about breaking.
Can't find anything to say numbers are specifically illegal, but racing on the road obviously is. General consensus is that the 5-0 might think you're racing if you're all numbered up.
If they think one of their own bikes is racing....well....
