Wife's bike was delivered on Saturday, it seems well put together.

I, and the wife do like their ergo fit system, its always been a bind to find a bike that fits her as she's only 5', her first ride yesterday she came back complaining that her right leg was at full extension and giving her problems, handily it came set up for a normal sized person so ten minutes and 4 bolts later the peg assembly and brake were moved back an inch.
If that doesn't sort it we'll pick up Kwak's kiddie seat that moves the seat forward 2" and is narrower too.

Parts cannon fired;

The people I know who have ridden the 650 Vulcan say it's a really good fun bike to ride

Well R&G have upped their game, you no longer have to hack your bike loom to fit their tail tidy lamp, you still have to crimp bullet connectors on but they provide a replacement loom with OEM connector to plug in the bike :banana-wrench:

Bloke I sometimes ride with has a vulcan too. Never seen one before, it's a good looking thing black with green pinstriping.

It's like Henry T Ford. Any colour you like, as long as it's black.

Yup, And I had to shlep all the way to Yeovil for it, and pay to have it delivered, there were green ones, red ones, silver ones and blue ones all on our doorstep, but she wanted black so got it. :silent:

To be fair it is a nice black with some silver and subtle green flake mixed in

Rad guard fitted, not overly pleased with the mounting method, but it'll work

First take your new motorcycle and drill 2 x 22mm & 2 x 24mm holes in it :silent:

Then hang luggage hardware on;

Went with SW-Motech bags, they're good enough to have impressed me when she opened 'em up

Ooo, this looks interesting...

MrsTaff has got an ER6n but even with a lowering spring on the rear it's still too tall for her to be comfortable, I've just showed her this and we may well be looking to trade hers in :clap:

how comfortable / difficult to get used to is the feet fwd riding position?

SWMBO has only ever had feet forward cruisers since she passed her test so dosen't know any difference.
I went from a Speed Triple to my feet in the breeze Harley, and it just felt natural after half an hour, the big big difference is you have to make sure the seat is comfy as you can't take your weight on your feet to give your arse a break

Thanks, I'll have to get her to a Kwak dealer to have a good look at one, they sure are pretty things and the 85mm seat height difference from the ER6 should make a big difference to MrsTaff, so thanks for posting this.
