Yamaha 1st
2nd is a dead heat between Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki
But globally they are all behind Aprilia, Ducati, KTM and even Moto Guzzi

Re: Just for fun...
Japanese? They all look the same to me.
Arf! Only ever had one and that was a Honda. Have liked particular bikes from each but no view really on manufacturer vs manufacturer. They've all made some good ones and some clunkers.

When I win £111m on the Euro's tonight, the first bike I'm buying is an RC45. Make of that what you will.

Re: Just for fun...
I put kawasaki above suzuki coz i reckon they make a cracking 650, the RS is a good idea and there big bikes do well.
Suzuki make a few nice big bikes but nowt 650 ish I like.
Honda have lost the plot.
Yamaha on the other hand make lots of great bikes, whatever you want, they make it. Imo.

Re: Just for fun...
For me,buying new
Yamaha
Suzuki
Honda
Kawasaki
If I didn't have my Street Triple I would be looking at either a MT09 or the Tracer version & must admit to being MT07 curious, they seem quite popular & a few on here run them
The only other new Japanese bikes that I've any interest in owning are the current versions of the SV650,but as I own a 2008 SV650 I'll save my money.I would be interested If Honda made some kind of modern Transalp, but that's all. Those Kawasaki Z900's look alright, but I struggle to get past the looks of most modern Japanese bikes.
