Filling PCP Air rifle

Post by Reburner »

I have a PCP air rifle which I fill from a dive cylinder type bottle. How do I know when this bottle needs refilling?

Short answer, when there isn’t enough pressure / gas left to fill the air rifle...

Or buy a pressure gauge

Depending on your set up, you might be able to add a button gauge, just make sure you get a 300 bar one if using kit rated to that level.

Doesn't your bottle have a gauge? Mine to. I have the quick release fittings with plugs. I can charge the plugged off fitting to see what the gauge reads, then vent it off.
