Ducati Silly Season.

Post by Yorick »

Lots of rumours about Miller getting demoted as Ducati have said that the new teams personnel will be announced at next round.

Bastianini is due for promotion.
Miller isn't doing too good. But he's ahead of Pecco who is the 4th best Ducati.

Jorge Martin should be worried the most. He's nowhere.

Waddy reckon?

I reckon Ducati want Bagnaia to do well more than they want Miller to, so he's probably at least non-full-factory Ducati next year regardless of how he's doing. Zarco / Miller, Bagnaia / Bastianini?

Enea will be a factory rider. Miller back to Pramac, probably with Martin as he's regarded as the future and Zarco is about 96 now. Zarco back to the Gresini team - if he's not replaced by an obvious youngster......

Bastianini is making a case that cannot be ignored, plus he's Italian so I'd say he's odds-on favourite for the ride. I suspect that rather than be demoted to Pramac, Miller will go elsewhere, possibly KTM.

I don't think any of them want to ride a KTM at the moment. They really have lost their way this year. Miller will be as competitive on a Pramac Ducati as he is on a works jobbie. On a KTM he'll be nowhere, like the others,as things stand.

End of last year the KTM was cool and folk were laughing at the kids who'd turned them down :obscene-birdiedoublered:

Yeah i'm not sure exactly what's wrong with them currently. They're not miles off the pace, but they're enough behind that they're not troubling a top 5 in any session at the moment. It's only a couple/3 10ths here and there between hero and zero, but currently they're Zeros.

Yes, I agree that KTM are in a mess right now, but I can't see that being the case for ever. With the amount of money KTM are throwing at the project they simply have to get results. And getting in while KTM are in the doldrums could be a smart move. If they make it to the front everyone will want to be on one...

Agree about Pramac - they seem to be getting the same stuff as the factory guys. The days of the Primark jibes are long gone.
