With the TT fast approaching and no means of getting us there a typical last minute bike search was undertaken.
Trouble is, with no real interest in the sort of bike needed, other than it needs to get us there and back and precious little time to find something on a very limited budget, nearest and cheapest was the winner.
I give you the mighty Aprillia Futura!!!, complete with quality customised horn modification.
Must say though, having ridden it 30 odd miles, it handles really nicely and is probably the most comfortable bike I’ve ever sat on. Just hope we don’t end up stranded on the side of the M6 regretting not finding a cbf Honda or similar.

I like that, no iidea about Aprillas but if that was cheap it looks like a good buy.

Now that is something a bit different, I love the Rotax V60
Not so sure on the aesthetic ( or aerodynamic ) properties of those, err, panniers though!

Dewd! Sweet! I always wanted a Futura.

Been out on it again today and it really is starting to grow on me, though would always have to concede it has ‘the looks’ only a Mother could love!
Had a Falco in the past and as @Tricky said, the v60 Rotax motors are cracking little units.
Actually raced the Falco at a North Gloucester meeting and although I’m way past racing am starting to get a worrying urge to put some sticky tyres on it and do a trackday, complete with aerodynamic panniers!

Weirdly, today my friend and I had a reminisce about him racing in the Aprillia Mille cup in 2000, my memory of the RSV is that it was an easy bike to change the wheels on.

Change the starter solenoid for a Yamaha unit (check the forums) or you'll be finding out how much fun it is bump starting a big twin!
