Wall mounted tool charger ideas?
I seem to have collected several Ryobi 18v chargers for my various tools like this:
For batteries that look like this:
The clips on the battery latch into the protrusions on the first image.
Anyway, I was wondering whether anyone had any bright ideas how to wall mount the charger head so that batteries could be clipped in rather than having them cluttering up a shelf, workbench, kitchen worktop etc. I’d be nice if the LEDs were visible as well.

Re: Wall mounted tool charger ideas?
Are you prepared to glue/strap something to the charger so that you can wall mount them? Or hang them?
My makita charger bases have slots for screwheads (IYSWIM) so that you can fix them semi-permanently.

Re: Wall mounted tool charger ideas?
Probably not an ideal solution if you have several but there are wall mountable ones available for ~£25. Like this one. https://www.amazon.co.uk/FirstPower-Upg ... 6V1J&psc=1
In the Q&As someone asks that very question.

Re: Wall mounted tool charger ideas?
Happy to abuse a couple of them, I think I’ve got 3 possibly 4 to play with, alway useful to keep one for mobile use.
Ryobi does a 6 port charger for around £100 which, whilst spendy (for what I’d hoped was a cheap fix) would also charge / store pretty much every battery I have.Count Steer wrote: ↑Tue May 03, 2022 9:51 pm Probably not an ideal solution if you have several but there are wall mountable ones available for ~£25. Don't they just store batteries* rather than hold the charger? I assume that's what the aim is if the LEDs have to be visible.
* That's what they seem to have for Ryobi.

Re: Wall mounted tool charger ideas?
Sadly, they only wall mount the battery, not the charger and make it impossible to charge the battery whilst wall mounted.

Are the charger bodies plastic-welded together? If you could get the body apart it might offer some neat options.

I think they are screwed which I’ll investigate tomorrow, hopefully one part of the body will come away to enable me to drive some screws through the body or present another option.Count Steer wrote: ↑Tue May 03, 2022 10:09 pm Are the charger bodies plastic-welded together? Certainly for Makita, Dewakt and many others they have charger wall mounts too.
Mine are on the wall and all lights visible.

Re: Wall mounted tool charger ideas?
I couldn't find Ryobi charger mounts on their web site. Only 4 items, but I didn't look further than the Ryobi section in 'other makes'.PitaNaanRoti wrote: ↑Wed May 04, 2022 6:49 amNope.Count Steer wrote: ↑Tue May 03, 2022 10:04 pmDon't they just store batteries* rather than hold the charger? Re: Wall mounted tool charger ideas?
I'd just get a shelf unit like this and feed the wires through the back and stick it in the garage or in a cupboard. Chargers are always awkward shapes and at least this will keep them out of the way and is flexible.
