That'd be quite sweet with a few simple changes:
Tyres, mirror, mudguards, pipes, seat, rear brake, forks....
Doubt is not a pleasant condition.
But certainty is an absurd one

They manage to bend the pipes properly, but then cut them up and weld them back together anyway.

They're doing it just to annoy me aren't they?

They get you with the pipes, me with the mirror. :(

To be fair, I quite like the overall 'ambience' of it. It somehow looks 'perky' and I'd probably enjoy riding it (not too far + on a dry day).

In fairness, I get the sense that exhaust is actually a cut n' shut of another off the shelf jobby.

I sort of like it, but I really don't get the 'balloon tyres' thing.

I like the overall simplicity of the bike, but the details ruin it.
The twin cylinder Z400 was a truly awful motorcycle, it made 400 Superdreams look good

I'm glad they painted it brown, because they were shit to begin with!

Is that the ignition switch I can see in the crux of the frame under the bottom triple clamp?
Can’t think of a form or function reason for that, if they wanted it hidden there are some good keyless systems around for customs like that from Motogadget.

Dunno about that exact size but theres offroad pickup aftermarket exhaust places where you can just buy the bends and weld em up
That looks to be a mix of those with a few makeup pieces to get the angles and lengths right.

One of these days, one of you fuckers will build a bike and I'm going to tear it to shreds when you do

Feel free to rip the piss out of my Kawasaki, it's not got any standard parts of the original Z1000J the frame is from, it's also not very nice to ride or reliable.

For once, I think that the no side panels, 'spare', look works.

Smaller tyres would offset the addition of mudguards.

It needs something on that rear as can you imagine getting caught in the rain with that rear tyre spraying water directly onto the air filter! It's ridiculous things like that which spoils a bike for me...

I mean I like the simplicity but the styling is full hipster, which I thought most of you lot hated. And the simplicity is spoiled once you put on 'plate and useable mirror (let alone indicators or useful gauges).
It's a crap engine, they've left it with rubbish brakes and plumped for retro tyres.

I suppose it would be fun to nip down to the beach on. To be honest it would be nice to have a bike solely for that purpose. Not in brown though FFS

Yes, totally agree.

It's an indictment of many production bikes that they don't have decent mudguards. The BMW K bikes had a rear mudguard that stopped just short of preventing crud spraying up (onto the clutch mechanism IIRC).

Yeahbut, at least they'll be different criticisms.
I sometimes like these bikes you put up but the stuff I don't like are just the same things every time and if I didn't like the first airfilterless, too big a front tyred, missing mudguards posh painted POS it's unlikely I'll be blown away by the 300th.

There's often details I do like though and the more I see the better.
Just don't be too surprised if the details I wasn't keen on first time round haven't improved since.
