Just arrived in lovely sunshine, The Bull Hotel room is ok ish. Grubby carpet but nice shower, TV works and nice coffee and biscuits. Bar later/soon.

My room is off the carpark so no stairs or lifts. Petrol supplies all filled and stored away safely for the night. No fuel at trac mon and hoping i can scrape through the day without getting extra, about 10 miles from track i think to nearest.

Gonna checkout menu and beers . So far so good.

It's scary taking it flat with 65bhp, flat on a thou' you must need balls the size of Snowdon (which coincidentally, you get a lovely view of from the top of the corkscrew on a clear day).

It's scary taking it flat with 65bhp, flat on a thou' you must need balls the size of Snowdon (which coincidentally, you get a lovely view of from the top of the corkscrew on a clear day).

If the bike is handling OK, you can do it. Just get the turn in point right, late apex and use all the track on the exit.

International. Watch tube vids, hairpins and fast bits, does look flat though, think coastal had the corkscrew. I could be wrong though.

Back home for 7pm ish and what a cracking day it has been. Cloudy dry early on but from lunch sunshine. Got there at 7.15 and garages full, so parked up in paddock and went for breakfast.

Got talking to a couple of Swindon lads and they invited me space in theirs, so garage sorted. Bike doesn't need garage really but I do with kit and stuff along with my reserve chair, that my helmet sits on.

First session steady away but soon settled in. Corkscrew seemed the hardest to sort with that blind crest followed by left. Quite a few red flags but nothing too serious. Favourite bit i would say were those fast r/h kinks.

MT performed brilliant and the blipper worked great when knocking down from higher up the rev range. Brakes were also great and no horrible abs intervention, unlike the tracer.

Full tank plus 10L was plenty so no dinnertime dash. The 2 lads i met are at Bedford on the same day we go, they'll be looking out for a 3 wheeler.

All in all, a fantastic little trip, very pleased with bike, circuit is ace and hotel worked great.

Did you see the infamous Ducati side swipe - where he tried to blame the other rider on Facebook and suggested that the Suzuki rider should pay for the damage on his bike, he went distinctly quiet when someone posted video of the incident.

Heard nowt of that. I got stood up by a inside overtake, r/h before crest, but no biggy and none of that dangerous red mist appeared. The apology hand was raised so all good.

Yup, I saw that, the V2 owner sounded like ( and was from the vid I saw) a bit of a fanny to me, but I also have to say, the pitchfork type response was quite shocking too

I must have a harsh sense of humour, I wasn't shocked and found it quite funny.
