Ebay payments

Recently sold a few clothes items (my lads old suits) and sales totaled £38. Post was an additional £12 making £50 all in. Ebay only sent £43 and have now taken an additional £4.30. What's the deal these days? I went onto the payments page on eBay but it is showing some random data and not opening properly so I can't check.

Their fees are now auto taken rather than at the end of the month.

That's what I thought, which is why I'm not sure about this additional fee???

Did you tick a charity donation by mistake?

Likewise. A Paypal account I'm OK with. Giving those grasping SoBs access to my bank account - not a chance. All they have to do is rule against you on a contested case for a spendy item and you're well out of pocket.

Local facebook groups then marketplace then Gumtree. Thankfully i have not resorted to Gumtree yet but being a small town and smaller villages around us we tend not to get all the usual idiots with the type of last price questions.

eBay is Less of a jamboree now and increasingly an outlet for the same old cheap Chinese goodz that Amazon/Ali/wish etc has now.
Shame . Back in the day I would off all sorts on eBay. Now I can't be arsed, I'll hoard it all and my heirs can cry about what a twat I am when I'm gone.

Friendface Marketplace is the new cool... as long as you don't mind messages says "is this still available" every 30 seconds.

At least yours have the decency to wait until you're gone.
