I have a honor 20 e lite (I think)

dual sim, one English, one French.

Both sims work fine in France, both work fine in UK, both work fine in Spain.

When I go to Switzerland, both sims can't find a signal !!

Any ideas what could be causing this/ what to do about it?

All I can find online is "turn it off and back on again" but as I can't try that until I get to Switzerland next week, I'd rather not find out that it doesn't work right when Im at GVA looking for lost guests !

One issue is - do you know for sure that both sims have signal in Switzerland? I can't imagine not, but I do know that Free is a bit shit there. My work phone this year was Free and I couldn't text guests in the airport as no signal and it was hit and miss around the airport. Had to use the wifi and hope they had apple phones or whatsapp!!!

If it's data then it'll be the APN settings.

There is, but it's switched on. Otherwise it wouldn't work in Spain, the French card wouldn't work in the Uk and the Uk card wouldn't work in France.

Some countries use particular frequencies for phones and not all phones can use all frequencies. When 3 or 4g came out there were some Chinese phones that wouldn't work in the UK.

Frequencies or roaming agreements.

My phone worked well in some parts of the USA, but not in others. Signal good, but no agreement with my SIM provider
