Was going to order up a Tutoro chain oiler for the X-adv, but happened across the Cobrra Nemo 2 Chain Oiler. Not even sure how it works, but looks nicely made? Anyone got one, use done, seen one?

I've fitted a Loobman to my last couple of bikes.
You have to remember to push a button every so often and the instructions are a bit wacky but for 22 quid it's great.

I used to be a big fan of Scottoiler,but I find these days,cleaning and oiling the chain every so often works just as well,plus it's not as messy as an oiler.

I think the one in the link is a manual operated jobbie,give the lid a turn every so often. If you are riding all year around in all weathers,then an oiler is probably beneficial. Otherwise,the odd clean and lube does the job. I use chainsaw oil.

I'd be interested to see a bit more about the boring bits that actually make it work, like the business end that delivers oil to the chain. A link to a product video would be handy.

As Skub says, you fill it, then pressurise it by turning the lid. You can use almost any oil too.

The one minor drawback I can see over (for example) a Scottoiler is that the tube run from the bars to the rear sprocket is longer and more visible than the run from an (often concealed) reservoir to the sprocket. There's also the question how you'd mount the reservoir if your bike has clip-ons or risers rather than a traditional handlebar. But on the plus side you don't need to dick about finding a vacuum feed (or equivalent). I've been running Scottoilers on every bike I've owned since the late '80s so I'm used to that way of working. I doubt I'd switch to a Nemo2 system, but it's good that there are multiple options for people to keep their chains lubed.

No idea why, but I've never had any luck with scottoilers? I've used a Loobman with some success and the same for a Tutoro, but both of those have been bit of pain with temp changes and oil viscosity, hence why this Cobrra intrigues me. I think I may take a punt, but then the X-ADv has a centre stand which makes lubing chain super simple...

Exactly the same, much lower price.

No need to mount on handlebars as you can mount it anywhere. I have one on the inside of the left rear foot peg of my Ninja 1000sx which mirrors where the rear brake reservoir is on the opposite side.

I can just reach down and give it a twist, even when moving.

I have used a Scottoiler in the past and still have a nearly new one, but I just did not fancy hacking into the Ninja 1000 to find a vacuum feed. This one is neat and easy to apply oil when I want, plus I just use a mixture of gear oil and engine oil which I always seem to have. Price wise the cost of my oil is buttons against the genuine Scottoiler stuff.

The one thing I did use off the Scottoiler was the fitting for the "injector" pipe because I thought it looked nicer!

For £17 delivered, you can't go wrong IMO !

Hmmm - that could be a useful option for the LC. No vacuum take off that I'm aware of, so an AliExpress £17 cheapie looks very appealing.

Chain oilers are, like bike alarms, the work of the devil.

Ta, I've been looking at the Cobrra ever since my Oxford electronic oiler packed up, but thinking it was far too expensive. I've just bought one on Aliexpress. Only thing is delivery is billed at 6 weeks. Still, it's a HUGE saving for what's obviously the same thing.

Here's how I mounted mine, behind the rear foot peg.

I also bought one, it looks good for the price, but I’m struggling to see how it fits to my Royal Enfield Interceptor swing arm , I may have to get an additional bracket…
