Speed limiters for bikes by 2030?
I'm not sure how much reliance to place in this story till I do some cross checking (and I'm in the middle of writing a new presentation at the moment) but it does seem to say that the European Commission have reversed their previous stance on ISA for bikes... and they want it fitted to all new machines by 2030.

The worlds went to fuck. Instead of worrying about shite like this they should concentrate more on improving our day to day living and the astronomical fuck you in the arse prices for everything.

If that comes to pass then you can be reasonably certain that ways will be found to defeat such devices. Or if you CBA just buy the latest, greatest and fastest 2029 model and hang on to it... I'm not losing that much sleep over it.

I'll be 74 by then. I hope I'm still around to break the limit.

All JDM cars have a beeper that goes off over 100kph - goes back to the 1980's I had a Mazda 323 Turbo that annoyed the fuck out of me until I got it removed.

I disconnected it on my 85 GSXR 750, the Speedo also ended at 180kmh and then a huge gap before the Speedo stop.

Doubt it would ever bother me but to make this work would it not have to work of the satellite like sat nav's. If that is the case could it not work in reverse and track your stolen bike.
