Touching base

Dont visit the site much, but was chatting with a mate and realised how much has gone on. I got made redundant a couple of weeks ago. Rising costs, last one in first one out etc. Was given a week in lieu (weekly pay) but by Tuesday had another job. Better money, dont have to deal with pita customers and learning more than I have ever done. The FJ is currently sans carbs after having had a new head fitted and a new clutch but I obviously disturbed some crud as its flooded fuel all over the place but I have had it running and its goes well enough. Theres something quite comforting knowing that even at 35yrs old it is still bloody fast. Lets not mention the brakes ok. Should get it sorted this weekend. Thinking about it, for those of us who were around back in the VD days, we'll have been aquintances for over 25 years! You get less for murder. Stay safe, keep it sticky side down :thumbup:
