New Zip in a well worn leather jacket

Post by maccecht »

So my 30 year old leather jacket is well worn with a few scars but plenty of life in it yet apart from the main Zip. It has become a little frayed at the bottom and occasionally parts company so it unzips from the bottom. It's a tough old jacket so I want to keep it. Anyone recommend or had experience getting a new Zip done by someone they trust? Kent based would be good but not critical

The Zipyard in Larne do a great job. Sure it's not far from Kent. :P

Clever with Leather - underneath Brighton Station have been good about repairing zips, MTB shoes, and various other things for the Moofo family.

+1 for Hideout

And I've posted jackets for zip replacement before; there's no need to visit in person just for a zip.

According to their F/B page they are closed for the covid holiday,so not much use to you man. I don't recall them as being hard to pay.
