Re: ZX25R with Yoshimura pipe
That was 50 ish gee gees.
I've been in the dyno room with 5 of my GSXRs with triple that and more.
You can feel the noise/power through your body, while you hope it doesn't explode.

Kawasaki like to make them scream for sure!
A mate used to have a little Honda 250 inline four,at 30mph in top gear it sounded like it was doing 120! Bugger revved to something like 22k redline.

Re: ZX25R with Yoshimura pipe
I had a spin on one of the old ZXR250s some years ago... I was riding through Camber at 30, when a copper jumped out from behind a hedge with a 'gotcha' expression... he glanced at his mate on the other side of the road with the speed gun, who was looking at the read out and shaking his head, then stepped back on to the pavement... @30, the bike was revving at about 7000 rpm, and was fitted with an earsplitting Japanese aftermarket point!

That's lovely, and if ever a bike needed a quickshifter, its that one!
