Looks like they're moving to the next stage with this. Wonder what it'll eventually look like when ti hits the road. Not exactly flying for me as it is...
Today marks the official end of the collaboration stage of the TE-1 project, with the completion of the prototype demonstrator, which is now fully ready for the next Triumph-led stage of the project to begin – the live testing programme.
The unique collaboration between Triumph Motorcycles, Williams Advanced Engineering, Integral Powertrain Ltd, and WMG at the University of Warwick funded by the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles through Innovate UK, was set up to create ground-breaking developments in specialist electric motorcycle engineering and innovative integrated technology design.

Unrelated to the electric aspect of course, but that rear wheel must be pretty high spec to have spokes that thin!
Really looking forward to this, one of the only - if not the only - bike I'd consider buying brand new.

Might be a paddock stand special? Anyway, Concept bikes always have fancy suspendy bits, doesn't necessarily mean they'll be suitable or in budget for a road bike.Mr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Tue Feb 08, 2022 2:50 pm Unrelated to the electric aspect of course, but that rear wheel must be pretty high spec to have spokes that thin!
They've aimed hard at people who wouldn't consider a bike that looked too unconventional, and I reckon they hit the mark hard.
I reckon that looks pretty good!
There again, I'd be more likely to go for a Niu RQi (even if it's kind of a pig), just because I bet it'll be 1/3 the price and do all I need it to.

Why are all these bike promo vids done by a 7 year old on Haribos ?
Watched 3 times and still not much idea of what it looks like.

BTW all four founders/directors of Integral Powertrain are ex-Cosworth guys. One of them, my old boss, is the son of Keith Duckworth. Everyone used to go on about "Roger's Dad would/wouldn't have done this" etc. Roger's Dad was the 'worth' in 'Cosworth'.
Anywho - those four guys can surely lay more claim than most to being enthusiasts of the piston engine, yet here they are running a company making some of the world's highest performance electric motors for EV applications.

Yeah it's loads! I was speaking to one of our supercar customers about this a while ago, in one of his previous lives he helped Engineer and Build prototype vehicles for JLR. They love not having to build "advert cars", it saves soooo much effort apparently, usually at a really inconvenient time in the programme. Most ads just use an electric skateboard thing with the correct alloys fitted, then a load of motion capture dots on it. It means you can have all the right leaves blowing around, puddle splashes etc. and just CGI the car in afterwards. Also means you can get different regional model variations in there.
