As a style of bike, cool, coolish, dull or pass the bumming hat?

If I had to wear the hat, I'd rather be riding a V-Max.

Style??

A poorly executed faux/pastiche of a much derided, even at the time, style of bike that even the owners of the original bikes will accept were not the high point of the original manufacturer?

what are you smoking? (and no, I don't want any)

Kawasaki made them for years, I think the first one was the ZN1100 Spectre, which was basically a Unitrak engine in a dubious handling LTD chassis.

They made a 125 version, with a 4 stroke engine, probably Suzuki DR125.

Yamaha made a 600 Radian (I think)

And I have vague memories of someone I knew having a ZL900, I think it had shaft drive.

It's like something from 1950s sci fi, but the Kawasaki is worse

The 750 that looked the same was imported to the UK, apparently they're alright to ride. FZR1000 engine bolts straight in.

Still fucking weird looking.
Didn't Honda do V4s that looked similar, Magnas and Sabres?
I also find it hard to believe Suzuki didn't try to cash in on this crap 80s fashion trend, maybe the disaster that was the Suzuki Cavalcade out them off?

I had a FZX750 (the original Frazer!) back in the 90s.

It wasn't a bad bike. It handled ok for what it was and had a lot of midrange. I sold it after about 6 months though. It was the closest thing to a custom (style) bike I've ever owned.

Gods teeth! apparently they did one with a GPz600 engine :wtf:
They did. They were quicker to about 80 than a FZR or CBR.
