LOL, the bike is not to my taste, it also looks similar to other modified Dominators, but it is well finished, which is harder to achieve than most people realise.

God knows what one of these professional built custom bikes cost to buy, they take a huge number of hours to do.

I may hate most of them, but every now and again there is a genuine work of art in there.

This one? I had a Dommie... loved it as a round town / country lane short distance bike... had a great view for instructing too... it was even modestly competent off-road on dual purpose tyres although I managed to get it completely bogged down in a steep muddy gully on the North Downs - took two of us to haul it out... but boy, was the seat uncomfortable for long(ish) runs - even 50 miles was a PITA.

As for the custom... I'm sure the exhaust is lighter, but the twin high level cans were a bit unique at the time. At least this one has side panels!

Love it.

I like it overall but it's a bit short, seat needs to be a bit longer for me. But other than that it's fairly decent.

I will.... i'm just having one of those days where i look at all the crap on here and i think "why the hell do i bother" and throw my hands up in the air and my toys out of the pram.

But sadly the fact that these other threads get so many posts in itself says that's what people want to discuss..... but doesn't mean it has to please me.

I think it's a bit of a winter effect too as people are not getting out on the bikes as much as they would in summer.

I can post more stuff about old bikes and old bike racing, but it never seems to get much interest and it feels like hard work for little return.
