I was going to get a women's seat for the Cannondale I bought recently as my g/f prefers them. I think if I'm going to swop it over with the standard seat fairly regularly it would be best to have another seat post too.
I measured the existing seat post and it looked like about 27mm external diameter. Googling the bike's spec suggests it's 27.2mm.
Will any MTB 27.2mm seat post be ok? and Are all / most seat to seat post fixings the same?
I don't need anything fancy, it's for occasional pretty light use.

Check it is long enough, I struggled finding something suitable for a bike with a short seat tube.
