Any experience of MotoLink in Pontypool

Post by Asian Boss »

I like the look of this. Cheap delivery too:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/275038783971

The bike is a bit cheaper than I'd expect. They do have feedback but no bikes sold in the last year. And their Google reviews suggest they're a mobile tyre fitter. :wtf:

Is that too many red flags? I guess this would be a safer bet: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/203719815627

Although if I went to look at that I could get tempted by this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/203691348636

I'm still considering the lilac / red / green Aprilia AF1 too. But it's a lot of money for an old 125 which doesn't work right.

If I was confident it was good I'd be tempted to buy it unseen and get it delivered. But there could be all sorts of typical used bike issues like accident damage, clocking etc.

If it was nearer I'd go and look at it but it'd make as much sense to buy the slightly more expensive 2020 one which is much nearer to me.

I wondered if anyone knew the dealer and could say if they were established and reputable.

I've spent most of it on TWOC'y trainers. And I've got a job which starts in January. Where did my three months off go?

It's Pontypandy, go and look at them in person and pop in and see Fireman Sam and Naughty Norman Price

On a more sensible approach.... I don't know them but do know a few dealers up that part of the valleys who probably do - I'll ask about.

Word is they're fine - fairly new but do move a few bikes. Obviously can't shout for the individual bike you're looking at but it's not a made up bike shop in someone's back bedroom..

Thank you. Maybe I should go for it. Someone fairly local has kindly offered to go and have a look at it too.

I had one a few years back. And it was standard not all messed about with and yellow.

This is it. Die Klassicerenduro.

It was ok but I wouldn't have another.
