This one is a bit odd, I was booked for the 24th, but with MSV not No Limits, I'm sure I'll get an email shortly though that will explain all.

MSV run good days. The only downside for the punter is that you gave to pay for instruction.
As an instructor, it was great

I don't need to worry, the only time I'm within 2M of someone on track is when they come past me.

Just as a matter of historical interest. Oulton in 1960s. You could phone up, book the track for half a day. Turn up to an empty track, give the caretaker a fiver, yes £5 and go use the track. No safety at all.
I did it a few times testing my Mini Coopers and a few times with Reg Dearden testing his Manx Nortons.
At that time the GLF meant just that, so we did.
Those were the days my friend, but they did end.

No Weekends. I find that a bit surprising as there are no Race meetings until July * You'd have thought that there'd be more money to be had ?
* That's what we've been to!d. Fingers crossed.

Race clubs are talking about limiting circuit entry to rider plus one with no spectators allowed. Fewer marshals due to distancing difficulty so more red flags expected. Electronic entries only and limited entry to office for signing on. Bars and cafes closed. Possibly only one-day meetings to discourage social groups in the evenings.
I agree with Weeksy though, I still think it's too early to be restarting an activity that typically sends a few people per day to A&E.

Mind you,over here the bods in A&E are bored shitless because all the usual punters are staying away from hospital. The local new interviewed a doc who was practically begging for customers! My cousin has retired from nursing and they told her not to come in,as they didn't need help.
A lady I know fell and hurt her wrist last week,she was in,x-rayed,patch up and out within 30mins of landing in A&E.
So if you have to lob it up the road and do yourself a mischief,ironically now may be a good time.

Rider plus 1. I can see vans down to their axles getting through the gate.

E-mail I had from MSV before the lockdown said rider only, no spectators, garages closed, cafe closed, no briefing, signing on via internet or calling in and social distancing in pits.

For me that's sounding horrific and everything I never want in a trackday. Not their fault of course, but for me, it's a massive no.
Trackdays are all about the banter the laughs. Even down to the curry the evening before or beers in the bar. That's what makes trackdays great. Turning up to sit in my chair alone, nah, not for me thank you.
