Re: The new MV Brutale
My nearest bike dealer is an MV franchise.
Which is nothing odd, until you remember I live in Barnsley, where every one is poor.

Re: The new MV Brutale
I know Paul, who used to be one of the salesmen there. As you probably know he's started up his own business in Hoyland and seems to be doing quite well.KungFooBob wrote: ↑Thu Nov 25, 2021 9:12 pm My nearest bike dealer is an MV franchise.

Know exactly what you mean about the incongruity of an MV dealership in Barnsley...

Re: The new MV Brutale
I've only been in Bennetts once, to look at a used R1 about 8 years ago. They were so helpful that I've not been since.mangocrazy wrote: ↑Thu Nov 25, 2021 10:28 pmI know Paul, who used to be one of the salesmen there. I've seen the Hoyland bikes advertised on ebay, does he have a showroom?

Mate who rarely posts on here @Paulo who's also a mate of @scottyuk has a 19 version... lets just say, sitting on the roadside it seems ANGRY !!!!! It just seems like it wants to rip your soul out and feed small children to the devil !
It's very rare that i don't want to test/try one of the lads bikes... but i really didn't wanna try it LOL.

That's motorcycle art that is. Looks a bugger to keep clean and every service would push me further into debt but I do like it very much.
Although, what's that?

Body coloured mirror?
I like the wheels. I'd have one, but not for twenty seven grand.

Re: The new MV Brutale
I test rode an earlier Brutale and i will admit it is one bike that just makes you ride like a complete twat no matter what the circumstances are. On the open road i just kept wanting to see when the power would drop and it didnt so ended up well into 3 figure speeds hanging on for dear life and the bike kept pulling.weeksy wrote: ↑Fri Nov 26, 2021 8:25 amMate who rarely posts on here @Paulo who's also a mate of @scottyuk has a 19 version... lets just say, sitting on the roadside it seems ANGRY !!!!! In built up areas like a local ring road it encouraged hooligan behaviour by the noise and the way it revved
Totally bonkers bikes

I love the look of that. Doubt I'd be able to reach the right hand bar, but I'd love to try
Life is for living. Buy the shoes. Eat the cake. Ride the bikes. Just, ride the bikes!!

Yeah, he does but I've not visited it yet. I'll be going to RTT Moto in Hoyland Common soon to pick up my VFR tank that's being epoxy lined, so might drop in to TWN and demand tea while I'm in the vicinity.KungFooBob wrote: ↑Fri Nov 26, 2021 8:18 amI've only been in Bennetts once, to look at a used R1 about 8 years ago. Re: The new MV Brutale
I used to work in Tankersley, so passed RTT everyday, never been in. I always forget it's there when I need any bits. Same with Bill Thomas in Wombwell... I always end up at Needhams in Doncaster.mangocrazy wrote: ↑Fri Nov 26, 2021 3:29 pmYeah, he does but I've not visited it yet.
