Looks a bit of a lashup tbh.
I think it would have looked better with the standard tank & seat, the tank & seat that are fitted are reminiscent of a 60's Honda but it's a poor fit...

Indeed it does, proper old lash-up that one with no redeeming features that I can make out, someone must love it though I guess!

It looks like shit heaps I have built in the 80s
I dreamed of building shit heaps like that in 1984, fortunately Suzuki made the GSXR750 in 1985 so I didn't have to.

Looks like you'd need an 18" inside leg to actually ride it?

That's pretty normal for a 70/80s race replica, look at early GSXRs, the foot pegs are high and the seats are low.

I get what the target audience is,the Hailwood Honda nostalgia trip, but it does nowt for me.

The only thing I ever liked about the slug named 400 four was the header pipes. I rode RD350s instead and they were faster, lighter and betterer.

It's the wrong rev counter too, for some reason. Should have a 10,000 rpm red line.

I wouldn't - those Yoshi pipes were horrid, sounded like someone farting in a bath.

I had one for about 10 mins on a s/h bike, and refitted the OE downpipes from my blown-up one and stuck a Seeley silencer on the end. Fruity.

I had a '77 400/4. Lovely bike. Mine was bog standard and looked better than this.

I like the idea but the execution is shit.

Terrible. Why?

They were crap attempts at turning stock bikes into race reps back in the day, they don't need repeating. Real rose tinted specs stuff.
