Cheap? Doesn't look cheap from here. Targa - worth less. No mechanicals - ditto. Incomplete/rusty++ - etc. It'll probably be used as an identity for another dodgy car - maybe that's valuable enough to somebody.

I wonder which end he was looking at?I climbed underneath and there is no sign of an engine in the car
If I was a classic Porsche specialist, I'd be all over it, - and there a fair few classic porsche specialists out there...

Talking of cheap Porsches
I'm watching this guy on YouTube struggle to revive possibly the fugliest Porsche ever made. And this is also quite likely one the nastiest condition Posches I can recall seeing. A neglected Porsche really -does- sound like a bugger VW camper.

Over £50k for scrap... ouch. Was the VIN 0001?

Re: Anybody Fancy A Cheap Porsche ?
Fully restored it'd be worth somewhere between 100 and 150k. I've no idea what the availability's like on those parts (!) but for someone with the skills, interest and time I guess it's a good project that has the potential to be profitable even.
They'd want to be keen on a challenge though!
