It's a communication system. Like old school 'messenger'. Instant chat type thing with other people in company.
Can't say i like it personally, but it's ok.

It was probably me that killed it, I changed an office over to a new firewall this morning and they use slack

DNS issues, it's different for everybody. Weirdly, it works on my phone but not desktop.
