Hiya everyone,
I'm Dave, came across the forum by accident really, was just perusing some Portimao trackday chat on Google and found the sadly doomed trip you guys had planned

A little about me I guess is in order, mid thirties, ex forces, now in the Fire Service, from Wales, love bikes, tolerate cars, spent some years riding on the roads, mainly sports/super bikes, few close calls and after going through some unfortunately fatal accidents with friends, I decided to pack in the road riding and focus my attention on track.

Started at the toughest track probably in the world..Llandow and instantly fell in love with riding again, that was some time ago, outside of Euro stuff I've been lucky enough to ride most tracks in the UK and a few in Spain.

I'm a frequent attender (along with some mates) to Pembrey which seems popular here for your yearly meets, been a few times this year and every time it's been just terrible weather, but fun nevertheless.

Off to Portimao in just over two weeks, first time there and to say I'm excited is an understatement, staying for a few days extra to make the most of it.
Anyway, I look forward to chatting, meeting and sharing a track hopefully with some of you in the future.

In regards to going straight on at the bus stop in Llandow, yup, did that within the first 10 minutes of being on track on my old R6 thankfully I somehow managed to stay on the bike, no idea how.
Weeksy must have bud, been 5 times this year and plenty before so no doubt we'd have crossed paths.
I totally forgot to post pics my apologies guys, I ride an R1, bought it new, and spent the last 2 years on track with it, it's far from stock now, many countless nights have been spent adding, tweaking to get it where it's at currently. I work a lot with Road Race Performance Shropshire and lucky enough to get some sponsorship which helps loads.

Looks trick man.

It needs a separate thread in the owners/update section.
