It's a bit 'George Michael'.
Doubt is not a pleasant condition.
But certainty is an absurd one.

Going off on a massive tangent on my own thread, when he was alive I thought he was a massive twat, and I didn't like his music, but the information I've found out about him after he died about how he helped people, turns out he was a really sound bloke.

It's exactly 80s. I bought one like it (but in blue) in 1989.Le_Fromage_Grande wrote: ↑Fri Aug 13, 2021 9:54 am https://jsaccessories.co.uk/product/fra ... iant=93365

[Historic note for any youngsters: there was no 'armour' then, they simply sewed in a layer of squidgy foam (if you were lucky, under a superimposed second layer of leather. Worst case they cut out an area of leather and sewed in a weaker panel ... ), so the diamond switching was to stop it moving. A few years later, the 'earwig' ribbed stitching 'style' was popular]

Not my cup of tea, but if you like it go for it.
No mention of CE rating except for the armour so suspect it's not rated but then I guess nothing was until recently.

Well...putting it like that, my seventies are ok ish at the moment....the eighties are not likely tto be a lot better...unless I win the lottery.
Perhaps I should start buying tickets.

Re: What's the thoughts on this jacket?
I had a dark blue (nearly black) one like it from 1985 to 1995, I've rediscovered how nice it is to ride a bike in jeans and leather jacket (rather than full leathers or textiles) I'm considering going full 80sHorse wrote: ↑Fri Aug 13, 2021 10:54 amIt's exactly 80s. No, I'd need to try one on and it might be a bit loose around the chest
