Does having an extended toe really help?
I wouldn't know about short arse problems, I'm 6'3".

I'm a short arse, and tall bikes are a problem. I am not convinced that this is a solution.

Far easier to cull shortarses.
With the added benefit of there being fewer shortarses, less infernal squeaking, lessened likelihood of seeing their weird stumpy little legs.

I shall resist being culled.
And my legs, whilst short, are perfectly formed.

The emails I get only offer an extra half inch.
But Filly says that if I'd replied to all of them I'd have 1/4 mile by now.

I got short legs (on a bike) and I don't like the look of those thingies!! LOL
I just slide over a bit, use only the tip of my boot, always scan the road to put the foot down that is closest to the road (if it slopes!!). Don't see the issue!!
My problem was that a couple of bikes I liked the idea of and wanted to try, well, I couldn't actually get on them in the first place, so being able to get the tip of my boot down was a moot point!!

Just learn to ride without putting your feet down, as a short arse enduro rider I soon learned the Gaston Rahier method of dirt bike riding

It's a good point, about planning ahead.
I was on a rideout with a friend, not short by any means, she stopped unexpectedly to help a fellow biker, but misjudged the really steep camber of the welsh backroad we'd stopped on and both her and the bike disappeared into the long verge. No real harm was done (except to my sides).
Tbh if you really need a boot from a pantomime horse to keep you upright in normal use, it's probably best to get a different bike. I never realised it was such a problem - aren't most bikes designed by and for Japanese midgets.? Seems like one of those "solutions for problems that don't exist" that they laugh out the place on Dragon's Den.

I sat on my mates 260kg odd 1190 Adv R with the preload wound up (he's a big bloke) and it was way too tall of me. But I don't think I'd be looking at a strap on clown shoe as the solution if I wanted to buy one

They look so cool.
I don't need them for the bike, but I'm buying some just to wear to the pub
