Slowness

Post by KungFooBob »

Is it all going slow for anyone else, taking a good 20 seconds for a thread to open, etc.. its usually pretty snappy?

Hmm I've been out for the last 90 mins, so not on here, but seems OK for me currently.

Yeah it's ok now, but there was a period it was running shite.

It took 60s to post this original thread and another 60s to load it in edit mode to correct me misspelling of thread and then 60s to post it again.

It's the organic method used to control post count with certain members. ;)

I'm 825 behind Yozza, but the slowness doesn't bother him, he's got all the time in the world, did you know he's retired?

Really slow at the moment.

Almost a full minute between clicking and something happening.

Weird stuff. I'm not sure i can do a lot about that really. I can report it to our provider, but i don't see us getting far with it..

I'll have a try though.

Edit: call raised with service provider

Hello Steve,

Yes, there were two load spikes for 5-10 mins on the server.
