Looks nicely done, shame they couldn't do anything about the rake on the forks, they're still very cruiserish.

Looks like a centrifugal flow jet engine

Axial flow...it's got all the stages of blades.
Centrifugal flow is the one with a single big compressor like this:
The big cylinders around the circumference are combustor cans, older jet engines had multiple separate combustion chambers.

Well now,I opened this prepared to laugh my spuds off and was pleasantly surprised at what I saw.
That's really nice looking. The colours are deep and look quality.
If I was riding it instead of just looking,I'd want flat bars at least and a front mudguard. I don't thing any of that would spoil the look.
I idly wonder why there are no pics of the other side....

It's a yes from me, though I'd fix the lack of mudguards, the red spark plug leads (why???) and fit some rear indicators, which appear to be missing!
Just as long as the exhaust system on the other side isn't totally hideous!

My knowledge if the difference between axial and centrifugal flow comes from making a large scale de Haviland Sea Venom (might have been a Vampire) when I was about 11, I saw the things round the outside on the engine and thought they looked like the engine from the Sea Venom.Mr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Tue Jul 13, 2021 10:59 amAxial flow...it's got all the stages of blades.

yeah that's an "old engine thing" rather than a "centrifugal flow thing".Le_Fromage_Grande wrote: ↑Tue Jul 13, 2021 1:47 pm
