Travelling Abroad

Post by Greenman »

Has anyone been abroad in the last few weeks?

I have my yearly trip still booked for Amsterdam and was just wondering if they force you to isolate.

I have looked on the NL gov website and it's a bit confusing. It says you will need to have proof of vaccine OR proof of a negative test result.

I was speaking to a friend who seems to think you have to have been vaccinated to go.. I can't seem to find any definitive answers.

We shall also be attending a festival there (Dekmantel) which also states on the NL website that just a neg test is fine.

I really want to go but not if i have to self isolate and not if it's going to be a pain to get or get in pubs etc.

Also check the UK gov website for travelling back - you may be required to self-isolate on the return trip too.

And you'll have to self-isolate when you get there. 10 days currently.

You might as well fuck it off with a big stick, Greenie.

Most of Yoorup is not welcoming us because of the Delta variant - it has nothing to do with the vaccination programs etc at all. Germany has just opened its doors - but don’t expect the Dutchies to open the borders soon

DiL’s mother arrived from the US last Wednesday. She had to have a neg test to travel, fill in the locator form with the details and proof of the testing she’d bought for day 2 and 8.

She did the test to release thing on day 5 but previously to that she had phone calls most days and two home visits to check she was staying inside.
