Kit for touring with...?

Just off on a 5 day trip to and around Dumfries and Galloway in a few days. Just thinking what else to take beyond the obvious...? I have so far...

-Bike, ready to go, recently serviced, plenty of life in the tyres.
-Full luggage
-Helmet in good condition
-Choice of kevlar jeans and leather jacket or Goretex textile kit... Wondering if I need my Goretex kit as it's going to be 15-20deg, and though rain showers forecast, wondering if I wouldn't be better off in just my jacket and jeans with an all in one emergency waterproof in my top box?
-Puncture repair kit
-12V compressor
-Baby Wipes (mostly for cleaning visor, but whatever else may need cleaning)
-2 or 3 different pairs of gloves
-Waterproof riding boots
-Mobile phone with mount for the handlebar and a 12V charger so can use the phone as a Nav if required
-Credit Card
-Enough underwear/socks/T-shirts and casual clothing for the 5 days.
-Pair of trainers
-Sunglasses

Only thing I can think of, considering we're staying in the same hotel for 4 nights and exploring from there, is that maybe a tank bag would be useful as I won't need/want full luggage on the bike for those days...? Problem is, it's a plastic tank... Needs a tank ring and a rigid tank bag with locking mechanism, which I'm probably not likely to get hold of inside the next 2 days.

Can anyone think of anything else...?

All the rest i pretty much a good list. As an extra then maybe a charger pack for electronics but as you are hotel staying then dont even need that. Once you start camping then the list goes up but for hotel stays you have pretty much got it covered

IIRC you have a big KTM so use the top box rather than paying out for a tank bag and locking ring for the day trips

The Devil's Porridge is worth a visit, it's a museum devoted to the making of explosives in the area. It's not far out of Dumfries as you head south on the A75. I've not been to the flight museum yet.

I'll try to remember the names of the tea rooms I like in the towns near Dumfries.

Though I cant deny I’m not tempted to throw my KTM in the back of my van for the Worcester to Dalbeattie bit… 600 miles there and back of mostly motorways or boring A roads! Could probably squeeze an MTB in the van too and go for a ride at Dalbeattie whilst there…

You must be able to find alternative routes to use rather than motorways ...... even the A6 is more interesting than the M6. Have a look at parallel routes

I manage to make the Norfolk coast to South Wales without touching Motorway till the last 10 miles or so and thats a 750 mile round trip. I could use the motorways and knock some time off the trip but the alternate roads are more fun
