Topped and tailed by a couple of ex UK plod.
There were 11 of us in total, with a camera bike floating about to try and catch any bad habits.
The best word to describe our little jaunt is.......brisk!
The blokes in charge said they don't want to be IAM disciples,.but they do want us to be better/safer riders.
Pretty sure that when I went on UK rides, we didn't barrel along quite that fast!
Didn't actually learn anything apart from the lead rider today was imperious leading the group, and when the rolling roadblock (HD) held things up, he adjusted the road speed to suit, so was well aware of what was happening behind.
Looking forward to our next run out.
So we went out on a local AR rideout

Re: So we went out on a local AR rideout
Well, run numero Deux yesterday.
Different leader, not an ex plod, but chatting to him find he did track days, had an RC45/ZX10 so had high expectations.
Well, we had everything but snow! Freshly gravelled roads, mud streams running across the road, fords where there aren't any!
Initial pace was painfully slow, everyone seemed to be tripping up over everyone else, there was no flow.
At lunch, it was brought up that possibly the progress could be 'better'.
After lunch, he was using all 6 gears. Apart from the gravel section, was a far better ride!
It did highlight the difference between the way mortals and plod ride though.
Looking forward to another hot Fuzz ride!
