Tyre repair kit.
So, having seen what's in our bags, @Trinity765 mentioned stop and go kits. Been tubing and they do seem better than those rubber strip things with glue. All seems straight forward and kit looks pretty robust.

I've seen the 'mushroom' plug type used once. IIRC it was a faff reinflating (possibly due to the awkward shape of the bike's cast wheel).

Re: Tyre repair kit.
I've got that kit but without the gas canisters. I've repaired three punctures with it and each time successfully, however I have then had a professional job done or replaced the tyre completely. The guy who replaces my tyres said each time it would have held and I know people who have carried on with them until the end of the life of the tyre. Each of the punctures I had was in the centre of the tyre and caused by nails or screws so nice clean holes to begin with. I followed the instructions, making sure I cleaned the hole with the tool provided which was hard work and gave me blisters on my palm - but I've girly soft hands

Re: Tyre repair kit.
I have to say all the tubeless repairs I've done are literally fit and forget.
There's more chance of the glue being off or a vital kit part being lost, due to the infrequency.
