Checking pressure's on the tracer is a pita. Particularly front. On next tyre change gonna fit 90° jobbies.

They look a bit cheap and nasty in terms of metal... I'd be spending more and buying nice ones.

I've got some of those but by the time I've unscrewed them off, I've lost pressure. Don't fancy leaving them on.

I used a right angle connector for my Kawasaki as access was a nightmare, but not valves - just a connector I could leave connected to my pump.

I got given one by the tyre fitter when I had a tyre changed on the Tuono. Fitted it once and much like Dodgy I've not kept it on as I reckon the wheel would need rebalancing. A different adapter on the pump might be a better option. Certainlt the straight metal ones at garages won't fit due to front disks but the ones with a lever that lock it in place or the screw on ones on a portable electric pump are fine.

I got this as part of a Classic Bike subscription.
Recommendand will even recover a fully flat car tyre that a neighbour had tried to inflate with another pump he had.

I can pump ok, its the pressure gauge access that's the problem.

I know someone who had some of those right angle adaptors on a Ducati Multi. He left them on all the time and the out of balance forces eventually caused the tyre valve to split and the tyre to deflate. He was in the west of Scotland at the time and it took 6 hours for the RAC to recover him to a garage and get a new valve fitted.

I had some proper right angled valves on my MV and had no problems though

I've got a flexible line on both of my pumps so straight valves are accessible,but I've got 90 degree valves so happy days.

The wifes F700GS has a valve stuck out of one of the cast spokes near the rim. I'd never seen anything like it, makes sense tho'

I have 2 right-angle extenders somewhere, bought for the Bonnie which was a pig to inflate otherwise. Like others I never trusted leaving them on, and fumbling to get them on or off could lose a few pounds.

Problem solved. Already had clip on flexi piece, add piece with valve and job done. Obviously it doesn't need to be 90° but that's what I got.
