Long shot KTM bar backs/risers
Long shot KTM bar backs/risers
I can't find exactly what I want which is something to for the KTM 790 Duke but bring the bars back and up. Would anyone have a set from a KTM adv I could try and fit.
Cheers

Re: Long shot KTM bar backs/risers
Is there enough slack in the cables and hoses to allow repositioning of the bars?
Even bland can be a type of character

apparently so, but I am going to have a look this weekend to see how much there actually is. Also may need to move cables under the tank, but riding in pain after half an hour is just horrible (even though I did 4000 miles by taking vast amounts of painkillers)

Easier to just find a bike that fits? Or is that tricky too?Deadpool2 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 24, 2021 9:13 pm apparently so, but I am going to have a look this weekend to see how much there actually is. Re: Long shot KTM bar backs/risers
I am going to try that this summer. I did try a 390 Adv over winter and it was a bloody revelation. Rode for 3 hours in rubbish conditions and just a twinge of backache, nothing like the 790. In fact, I got on the 790 afterwards and within 15 mins was suffering again.
Going to see what the impact of lockdown exercises have been over the next week and then try some bikes over the summer, similar to the 390 adv but risers are likely to be much cheaper!
Oddly a Tracer 700 didn't work for me. I *think* a triumph scrambler did, but that is way over budget.
