Blue Thunder
Another one stolen off Bike Exif...
https://www.bikeexif.com/yamaha-ttr250-scrambler
I think that's pretty cool, although I'm sure Cheesy will hate it
It's an affordable base bike that's been customised without going over the top. It's very 'clean' in it's lines without any un-necessary bits.

Re: Blue Thunder
Like the general shape but no airbox, on a dirtbike?
The filters get shit up even with an airbox, nevermind without.

Re: Blue Thunder
I actually quite like it, though it could do with side panels and an airbox.
There was a film called Blue Thunder in 1983, about a police helicopter, I went to see it at the cinema with a girl called Marie who was very happy for me to have my hand in her bra for most of the film.

Re: Blue Thunder
Blue Thunder was a poor mans Air Wolf.
Tho they did have the comedy relief 'Rolling Thunder', two inept blokes in a van.

Re: Blue Thunder
The film was before the TV series, and was a lot better, though I may just be remembering Marie's ample cleavage.demographic wrote: ↑Tue Mar 23, 2021 10:16 pmFilm? Yeah, Gazelles aren't exactly quiet, though if it was an Apache you'd be deaf.
Blue Thunder predates Air Wolf

Re: Blue Thunder
I had a TTR250 'Raid' model. Fitted a Wiseco 280 kit, full CRD stainless system and a White Bros filter. It was great fun. Got tugged for hoiking a minger up Guildford High St. one Saturday afternoon. Luckily the policeman sent me on my way with just a telling off.
