Many years ago, I was having a particular bad time. After months of ignoring everything piling up, I finally looked at all of my finances and appreciated the depth of the pit.

I checked every pocket and hiding place, gathered all of my money together.

Fireworks were on at the local event, so I decided to walk to the pub, buy a half, and sit on a wall to watch the fireworks display. Someone drove into the wall.

Can't agree with that, I'm recently put open cans on a Ducati ST3 after riding around on standard cans for a couple of years. It's very noticeable that cars have started driving in the verge when I'm behind them, making space for me to pass, even though I'm not "menacing" them, that's in 50 - 60mph traffic. Probably wouldn't work for cars pulling out from side roads though, unless they had their window open!
