Lovely bike, but I'm a bit bemused as to why there's a headlight on a race bike. Unless it took part in Endurance races, of course.

I remember seeing the early Match Races at Oulton Park in (I think) 1973, when some of the US riders had race-prepped 'Kettles'. They sounded fantastic and I have some old B/W prints of them somewhere, but they always seemed to look very low at the arse end to me, which compounded their ground clearance issues. A real blast from the past, though.
