BMW R NineT Urban G/S

Post by KungFooBob »

Yet another version of the R9T, I guess they've taken the 'scambler' version of the R9T and added extra GSness.

You can kinda see what they're trying to emulate...

I'm starting to quite like the idea of an R9T, I'll probably give the Urban G/S a miss tho'

The boggo R9T is really growing on me, I reckon it's the type of bike you could keep a long time as it fills so many roles and has a hint of 'premium' about it.

Some of the other angles i've seen of the Urban G/S make it look nicer, but I hate those big chunky tyres.

I saw an R9T the other day and it was dad wee and nesh. Like a Honda CB100N but more pretentious.

Yeah I have the same feeling. The only bike which knocks the Nine T off the top spot for me in that vein is the GS itself. Which is probably why they both sell so well!

Does nothing for me as I'd just assume it was a non event standard model?

If you're any taller than Iccy you'll look like Bernard Manning on a moped ((c) Performance Bikes 1991).
