Smaller video file size app - iPad

Every week for the past year I've put together the church service, with c.4-6 people sending parts in for me to edit together.

The finished 55-60min video is 720p and normally about 250-300MB

Trouble is, both from a disk space p.o.v and bandwidth, the folk who send in videos from iPads (in 720p) have files of around 2GB per 40mins.

Is there an alternative iPad app that can easily create the videos with file sizes rather smaller though still keeping 720p and 30fps?
