Normally IL4's in modern ally frames don't make good retros, but I think that one looks ok if you squint a bit.

I'm sure they could have come up with something to hide the water bottle tho'

Agreed, but it doesn't look bad as it is, there is definitely a whiff of 80's endurance racer and that's always going to go down well with bike enthusiasts of my generation.
