Can-Am Ryker or Motorcycle Combo

Mods, hope you don’t mind me posting here. I didn’t want to put it into GM as it is more likely to be read by current and experienced riders.
I’ve been toying with the idea of getting a Can-Am Ryker for some time. I’ve also thought about getting a motorcycle and sidecar - I had a combo for five years many moons ago. Great for touring and for carrying camping gear etc. That said, I like the design of the Ryker and it is less expensive than a new, quality build combo. There’s also tons of extras.
I’ve considered the major downsides of both and they are not a problem. They are: 1. Being stuck in traffic. Not really a problem anymore given all the speed limits, cameras, dash cams and heavily congested roads and whatever else there is to impede one’s progress. Of late, I have found that filtering and overtaking is becoming more risky - too many idiots on the roads. 2. The Elements. Rain and whatever else, no problem. Safer on three wheels in the winter than two.
What do you think? I am tempted to buy an extra bike this Spring but how many can one really have when you can only ride one at a time - hence wanting something ‘different’ as well as something to replace my car and of course, to have fun with.
Any thoughts on buying a Can-Am?
Thank You in anticipation.

For those that aren't familiar with the Ryker...

Ryker doesn't seem to have much lauggage carryin capacity, there's plenty of pics of them with top boxes on them so if load carrying is your thing, a sidecar is the way to go.

Yes, agreed. I need to look into the luggage options - or even a trailer - for a Ryker.
Thank You

If you want one and can afford one buy one, only combo I'd buy would be something like this

There is 'optional' luggage. ie The option is to buy the RT
And I'd have one any day rather than a combo!

Le Fromage Grande.
Odd you should post that. I was looking at some earlier but I couldn’t find one road compliant - lights etc. I like the bare bones style.
The downside of a full combo with a Watsonian is they are quite wide. I contacted them last summer and given the dimensions it wouldn’t fit in the garage.
Thanks All

Not having ridden any three wheeler ever I still like the idea of the Can Am far more than a normal outfit.
I get the "Pitbull, scrabbling on a lino floor"* idea from them.

Three wheelers....
My first couple of "cars" were Messerschmidts....even I as a an idiotic 16 year old didnt get into masses of trouble. I think 2 wheels at the front is a good idea.

If you want to be different on three wheels, how about one of these?
I had a go on an MP3 in the wet a few years back and it was a hoot!

Can anyone else remember those ads that used to be in the back of MCN (maybe 20 years ago) for Grinnall Scorpions?

Rear engined, K series BMW engine/gearbox/shaft
I think that I posted a picture alongside a picture Potter posted of a local 3 wheeler.

Fairly sure Fortnine on Youtube did a vid about these Can Ams, can't remember what version it was about though.
From memory be reckoned they used a fair bit of fuel? Still looked like a hoot to me though.

About 20 years ago there was a guy in Wiltshire had a road legal KX500 engined MX outfit, he was a llama farmer, Derek Badger might remember his name, I can't.

This one is sort of half history of Can Am and half review but the bloke does good vids so I enjoyed it anyway.
